SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INGREDIENTS
Sauce
  • 2 oz (50g) butter
  • 2 oz (50g) plain flour
  • 1 pint (600ml) milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
Pasta Florentine
  • 8 oz (250g) pasta shells
  • 2 eggs, hard boiled and chopped
  • 6 oz (150g) cooked smoked haddock - flaked and bones removed
  • 4 oz (100g) cooked peeled prawns (shrimp) 1lb 8oz (600g) cooked spinach - chopped finely
  • parmesan cheese to taste
SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS
First heat your oven to Gas Mark 5, 375F or 190C

Make the sauce. Melt the butter in a pan and thoroughly mix in the flour. Cook about 1 minute - gradually add the milk, stirring all the time. Once incorporated, then cook for about 3 minutes, stirring continually. Taste and adjust seasoning - remember you're using smoked haddock though - go easy on the salt!

Boil the pasta until just cooked.

Combine the fish, eggs and pasta and place half the mixture into a greased oven proof dish. Layer the spinach on top and then the remaining pasta mixture.

Sprinkle the parmesan over and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes..Enjoy the seafood pasta recipe !

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPE INGREDIENTS

* 8 ounces penne pasta
* 1/4 cup butter
* 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
* 1 onion, diced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 red bell pepper, diced
* 1/2 pound portobello mushrooms, diced
* 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
* 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
* 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
* 1/2 cup cream
* 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 1/4 cup chopped parsley

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
2. Meanwhile, melt butter together with the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onion, and cook until softened and translucent, about 2 minutes. Stir in garlic, red pepper, and
mushroom; cook over medium-high heat until soft, about 2 minutes more.
3. Stir in the shrimp, and cook until firm and pink, then pour in Alfredo sauce, Romano cheese, and cream; bring to a simmer stirring constantly until thickened, about 5 minutes. Season with

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPE INGREDIENTS

* 1 (8 ounce) package uncooked spaghetti
* 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
* 1 cup chopped sweet onions
* 3 green onions, finely chopped
* 2 tablespoons prepared basil pesto
* 2 (6 ounce) cans salmon, drained and flaked
* 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS

1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the onions, green onions, and pesto. Cook until tender. Mix in salmon, and cook until heated through. Stir in 1/2 the Parmesan cheese, and
continue cooking 5 minutes. Toss with the cooked pasta, and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and the seafood pasta recipe is ready to serve.

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPE INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lg. ripe tomatoes
  • 8 oz. uncooked rotelle pasta
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 8 oz. trimmed asparagus, sliced into 1 1/2" pieces
  • 2 carrots, pared & sliced thin
  • 1 pt. half & half
  • 1/2 c. frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 tsp. minced thyme or 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 lb. sea scallops
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
In medium saucepan, bring 1 quart water to a boil. Using knife, make an X on bottom of each tomato; immerse in boiling water 30 seconds. Peel and discard skin. Cut each tomato into quarters; discard seeds. Chop tomatoes; set aside.Prepare pasta according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in large skillet, saute shallot in butter until soft, about 2 minutes. Add asparagus and carrots, cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add half & half, peas and thyme. Bring to a boil; simmer until mixture reduces slightly, about 6 minutes. Add tomatoes, scallops and salt. Cook until scallops turn opaque, 2-3 minutes. Drain pasta; toss with scallop mixture. The seafood pasta recipe makes 4 servings...hmmm...nice taste !

  • 4 tbspns (1/4 cup) Olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1 400g tin chopped, peeled plum tomatoes
  • 1/2 tspn dried basil, or about 12 fresh leaves chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 oz (300g)(2 cups) peeled prawns (shelled shrimps)
  • 1/4 pt (150ml) (2/3 cup) white wine (drink the rest!)
  • 2 tbspns freshly chopped parsley
  • 1lb (450g) fettucini

Put the oil in a pan and when it's hot, fry the onion and garlic until softened - do not brown.
Add the tomatoes and let the sauce simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
Add the white wine and cook a further five minutes.
At this point, you can start to drink the wine if you like :-)
Add the prawns and cook gently for about 5 minutes - taste and add salt and pepper if required.
Cook the fettucini according to the packet instructions.
Drain and put on plates, adding the sauce on top.
Serve with freshly grated parmesan and a twist of black pepper.
For the 12 oz of prawns, you could substitute either one of or a mixture of crab meat, tuna fish, smoked haddock, fresh salmon, seafood cocktail (cockles, whelks, mussels)

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INGREDIENTS
  • 3 oz (100g) butter
  • 1 small clove garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1/4 pint(150 ml) double (heavy) cream
  • 3 oz (80g)freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 oz (150g) peeled cooked prawns (shrimp)
  • 8 scallops - cleaned and sliced in half
  • 1lb (450g) fettucine
SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS
Melt half the butter in a frying pan and lightly cook the garlic, until softened. Add the scallops and cook until firm - then add the prawns and heat through.

Remove and keep warm whilst you make the rest of the alfredo sauce.
Melt the rest of the butter over a low heat. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cream and cheese.
Return to a low heat and do not allow the mixture to boil - it will separate - stir until it's thickened and then add the scallops and prawns to the cream mixture.
Reheat very gently and pour over freshly boiled fettucine.
You could use other pasta in this with the seafood alfredo, spaghetti, taglietelle or whatever your choice.

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tbspn olive oil
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove peeled and crushed garlic
  • 1 can chopped plum tomatoes
  • 1 handful fresh chopped basil
  • 12 oz (300g) of mixed seafood (as above)
  • Sheets of dried lasagne/lasagna
Sauce
  • 15 fl oz (425 ml) milk
  • 1 tbspn cornflour or thickener of your choice
  • small amount of milk to mix cornflour
  • 1 tspn English Mustard powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8 oz (225g) grated hard full flavour cheese
To finish grated fresh parmesan

SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS
Set your oven to Gas Mark 4, 350F or 180C.

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic. Fry gently until softened.
Add the tomatoes and bring to the boil.
Add the seafood and basil. Simmer two or three minutes.
Make the sauce by bringing the milk to the boil.
Put the cornflour and mustard in a small mug or bowl and combine. Mix to a smooth paste with milk.
Take your pan off the heat and add your cornflour mixture, stirring all the time. Failure to do this, will result in a lumpy sauce :-(
Return the sauce to the heat and stir until thickened.
Bring the pan off the heat and add the grated cheese - stir to combine the cheese in with the white sauce.
Assemble the lasagne/lasagna in a shallow dish.

Start with a layer of cheese sauce and then seafood sauce. Add a layer of lasagne/lasagna sheets - break them up if necessary.

Then a layer of seafood sauce, then lasagne/lasagna sheets. Continue unil you have run out of sauce, making your last layer lasagne/lasagna sheets.

Pour your cheese sauce on top, making sure it covers the whole dish.

Sprinkle parmesan on top and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes.

Serve your hot seafood lasagne recipes with salad, crusty bread, garlic bread or pizza bread (with or without garlic butter)

  • 1lb (500g) prawns (shrimp)
  • 8 oz (250g) scallops - cut in half
  • 8 oysters
  • small can (45g/1.5oz) anchovy fillets - drained and cut into small pieces
  • 14 oz (400g) can plum tomatoes
  • 8 fl oz (250ml) white wine
  • 2 tbspns olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic - peeled and crushed
  • 1 onion - peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 tbspn tomato puree
  • 1 tbspn chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbspn chopped fresh mint
  • black pepper - to serve
  • grated fresh parmesan - to serve
SEAFOOD PASTA RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the scallops for 1 minute - remove and set to one side.
Add the garlic and onion and fry until softened.
Add the tomatoes, wine and tomato puree and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.
Add all the seafood and cook for a further 2 minutes or so.
Stir in the parsley and mint and serve over hot pasta.
